    Redding homeschool network hosts it's 21st annual Not back to school potluck picnic. All homeschoolers or those who are thinking about homeschooling are welcome to attend, please bring a large potluck dish to share as well as drinks for your own family! This is a great opportunity for homeschoolers to meet up with other local homeschool families, to chat, to network, to hopefully learn about local activities, classes and other ongoing events.   • 17th Annual Tehama County Recovery Happens Celebration

    Tehama County will hold its annual Recovery Happens Celebration on Saturday, September 21st, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Red Bluff River Park. This free, community-wide event celebrates those recovering from mental and substance use disorders and recognizes those professionals in the treatment and prevention field who support them. The celebration will include a free BBQ lunch, speakers, live music, kids' activities, information booths, and raffles. The event is sponsored by the Tehama County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board, the Tehama County Health Services Agency-Substance Use Recovery Center, and the Tehama County Drug-Free Community Coalition. All are welcome!

    A special screening of the new award-winning movie “Oildale” to benefit the Redding chapter of Veterans Resource Centers of America ("VRC").
