  6:00AM 5:00PM A Dam Good Celebration   At Shasta Lake. Events include a Poker Run, barbecue, music, pancake breakfast, parade, car cruise, craft faire, art show, pie social, plant faire, and swap meet. Admission 3-6 dollars.
 
  7:30PM 10:00PM Cat On A Hot Tin Roof   At Riverfront Playhouse, 1620 E. Cypress Avenue. 10-22 dollars. Also a 2pm performance on Saturdays.

  11:30AM 2:00PM Vaisakhi Festival and Day For Non-Violence   At Sikh Centre, 5400 Sikh Centre Drive. FREE. Marks the harvest season in Punjab, India. Includes free Punjabi food. Workshops include cookery, martial arts, multicultural music, tabla solo performance, free Pujabi suits for ladies, turban tying for men, henna and face painting for kids.
 
  2:00PM 4:00PM Damboree--Live Music   Live music with Uptown in the Park, at Clair Engle Park, 1525 Median Street, in Shasta Lake.
 
  3:00PM 6:00PM Best of Mount Shasta Fundraiser   At the Gallery, 201 Mt. Shasta Blvd. Features music, food, vendors, a silent auction, and a raffle. Proceeds benefit the Best of Mount Shasta Conference and Festival.
 
  5:00PM 9:00PM Celebration of North State Wines   At Gala Anderson Hotel Restaurant and Spa. Cost is 50 bucks. A fundraiser for the Palo Cedro Community Park. Local wine tastings, food pairings, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. Live and silent auctions and live music and dancing.
 
  8:00PM 10:00PM Mathew Songmaker and Mountain Messengers   This concert takes place at the Vintage Wine Bar and Restaurant, at 1790 Market Street. The four-piece acoustic band plays traditional American music, from bluegrass and southern gospel, to country and early rock and roll. FREE
