  8:00AM 9:30AM Frosty Run Runs   At Lake Redding Park. Cost is 3 dollars. Eight-week series meets at various area venues. Two races per event.
 
  9:00AM 12:00PM Fitness Fair   At Caldwell Park Teen Center, 58 Quartz Hill Road. Includes information booths, classes, trainings from organizations, gyms, and other businesses. Coincides with the Splash-n-Dash. Admission is free.
 
  4:00PM 5:00PM Redding Bronze Handbell Concert   At First Presbyterian Church, 2315 Placer Street. Features ringers from Oregon, Nevada, and Northern California. Program includes Simpson University percussion students. Admission is free. Children are welcome.
 
  5:00PM 10:00PM Knights of Columbus Crab Feed   At Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 2600 Shasta View Drive. At 5pm, a no-host bar. Dinner is at 7pm. Cost is 40 dollars. Includes all-you-can-eat fresh Dungeness crab, clam chowder, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and coffee.
 
  5:00PM 9:30PM Shasta Celtic Society's 16th Annual Burns Night   At the Holiday Inn at 1900 Hilltop Drive. Cost is 45 dollars. Honors the life and works of Robert Burns. Program includes the parading of haggis, dinner, traditional Scottish toasts, poetry readings, music, and bagpipes. Scottish attire or semi-formal wear is encouraged. Must be 16 and older.
 
  6:00PM 11:55PM Soroptimist International Redding Mardi Gras   At Redding Convention Center. Cost is 10 dollars. Features casino games, bingo, dancing, dinner available, door prizes, and crowning the king and queen. Must be 21 and older. Proceeds support projects and programs of the Soroptimist Club.
 
  7:30PM 9:30PM Play "Leading Ladies"   At Riverfront Playhouse, 1620 E Cypress Avenue. Cost is 10 to 22 dollars. Comedy is set in 1950's York, Pennsylvania.
