This is a 12.9 mile ride one way along Susan River across several trestle bridges and through two tunels on a mostly-downhill, flat gravel wide path. Fat tire-mountain-bikes only.
Camp at USFS Campground, Gourmaz, near Highway 44
Friday night. Camp fees are about 16 dollars for two days. |

At TBS Ranch, 8310 Maynard Road, Palo Cedro. Includes hors d'oeuvres, live music, a deejay, dancing, and a costume contest. Cocktail attire and mask or a costume is requested. Features entertainment by the Redding Arts Project, Redding Theatre Company, Redding Only Ballet, and guest performers.
Tickets are 40 dollars per person, 65 for VIP seating. |

At Shasta State Historic Park, 15312 Highway 299 W.
Cost is 5 dollars. Depart from the steps of the Courthouse Museum. Take a guided tour by the light of the moon and learn about the lives and deaths of Shasta pioneers buried there. Bring a flashlight and wear sturdy shoes. |
