  5:30PM 6:30PM Brave Faces Portrait Gallery and Presentations   At Shasta College, 11555 Old Oregon Trail, in building 200. Exhibit combines photography and oral histories that tell stories of local people who have found recovery, after struggling with mental illness, substance abuse, and suicide.
 
  9:00AM 12:00PM Caldwell Park Triathlon Health Fitness Faire   At Caldwell Park, 58 Quartz Hill Road. This is a beginner-friendly marathon. Families are welcome. The Faire features health organization and business booths, food, and music. Cost is Free to 45 dollars.
 
  9:00AM 3:00PM 20th Annual Great River Clean-Up   At Dunsmuir City Park, 4821 Dunsmuir Avenue. Garbage bags, gloves, and river access maps are provided. Complimentary lunch at noon. Also a "Find the Golden Rock" contest and the best refuse found.
 
  10:00AM 4:00PM Community Harvest Festival   At Open Door Community Church, 33884 Highway 44, Shingletown. Features craft booths, baked goods, food and drink vendors, a rummage sale, music, and face painting. Admission is free.
 
  2:00PM 10:00PM Beef 'N Brew Tasting   In downtown Red Bluff. Includes craft beer and beef appetizer tastings, street vendors, live music, and dancing. Tickets are 15 to 20 dollars.
 
  3:30PM 8:00PM Redding Beer and Wine Festival   At Downtown Promenade. Features arts and crafts booths and exhibits. Admission is free. Must be 21 and older.
 
  5:00PM 8:00PM End Of Summer 50's Burger Nite   Event features old-fashioned burgers, fries, milkshakes, music, and hot rods. Attendees may wear 1950's clothes. At Buckeye Grange Hall, 12508 Lake Blvd. Cost 2 to 5 dollars.
